Company History

1997
Jérôme Schüssler founds J.S. Logistics as a private venture.

2000
J.S. Logistics continues growing, mainly in the field of automotive logistics: as regional forwarding for Volkswagen Logistics in France (on behalf of a great forwarding concern) the company takes on the overall procurement logistics and turns it into a success.

2002
The company is transformed into a joint-stock company and the building of the headquarters is started in Kirkel, Germany.

2003
The company sets foot into France via Luxemburg: J.S. Logistics S.A. is founded in Remerschen (Luxembourg) and run by French native speaking managers. The first big client is Tefal (Group SEB).

2004

J.S. Logistics is assigned by TI Group Ford Saarlouis to manage the entire logistics in its own consignment warehouse.

2005
J.S. Logistics conquers the chemical industry by taking over the distribution of chemical products for Bayer AG in specific administrative regions of France.

2006
J.S. Logistics Kft. is founded in Budapest (Hungary) to explore the fast growing Eastern European economic region and to comply with the requirements of the car industry, also being managed by Hungarian native speakers. As one of the first Hungarian clients Audi Győr is acquired.
In Germany J.S. Logistics AG proudly announces the trust of a new well-known client, Mercedes Benz.

2008
Robert Jung GmbH (vehicle manufacture) appoints J.S. Logistics to develop and implement an integrative logistic concept, including all steps from the acquisition of the individual building elements up to just-in-time delivery.
J.S. Industrieservice GmbH is founded due to the enquiry of Johnson Controls Germany about an in-plant service provider for their in-house logistics in Überherrn. Operations starts on January 1st 2009.

2009
Volkswagen Logistics shows their convidence in J.S. Logistic AG to perform the entire purchase logistics of their site Auto Europa in Setubal (Portugal) in Full Truck Load (FTL).

2010
Danone Waters and Ascometal also belong now to the clientele of J.S. Logistics Group.
